The lesson was very engaging. Taking the PHI, put a many things in place for me. I scored a 71 and I have room for improvement. For the survey, maybe change the format for length purposes. The use of KWL Charts in small groups were a plus! Great way to organize students thoughts for each topic.

Overall really strong instruction. Good opportunity for discussion. You were great at providing positive and encouraging feedback to students. Good, clear directions, which were posted as a reminder. Good use of questioning. You could definitely take this straight into the classroom

Two thoughts. I personally would have liked some more visuals (pictures or videos) just to break up all the text. And I would suggest segmenting the time for the 2 KWL charts in the group activity, because we were so engaged in the first one, we almost didn't make it into the second one.

I liked the lesson very much. It addressed some very good points, and generated some good conversations. I liked the use of the KWL charts. Good clear instruction, and positive feedback. Good checking in on us.
The survey is a bit long, so I might suggest that you have the students do a section or two, then stop and discuss, continue on to the next two sections, discuss, etc. Then add up the grand total and have another discussion. Also I would avoid the Red font, I didn't think that it carried very well.
