         <description><![CDATA[<div>Thought and preparation must proceed effective goal setting.<br><br>The first step is to asses participants abilities and needs - areas needing improvement.<br><br>Set goals in different areas e.g. Team skills, fitness levels, playing time, enjoyment etc.<br><br>This is due to different reasons for participation.<br><br>Needs determine the goals .<br><br>Athletes potential, commitment and opportunities for practice must be assessed before goals can be set.<br><br>Strategies that participants can use to achieve their goals must be planned.<br><br>Goals are not effective unless tied to specific and realistic strategies.</div>]]></description>
