 - Victor was kind of interested in natural philosophies from young on, especially after witnessing a thunder hitting a tree making the tree explode. After entering college in Ingolstadt, he gets a lecture from one of his professors and that made him change his major

- not really logical — creating life out of dead things
- It was at first only an interest for Victor, but since the death of his mother, he had an ambition to understand and use science to create life(reanimate). - Luigi Galvani discovered the effects of electricity on muscle tissue when investigating an unrelated phenomenon which required skinned frogs in the 1780s and 1790s. His assistant is claimed to have accidentally touched a scalpel to the sciatic nerve of the frog and this resulted in a spark and animation of its legs. So they animated a dead frog leg with electricity and made it move.

Victor Frankenstein:
Victor uses, in a sense, the same technic to reanimate the dead body pieces and to recreate life, on his own. The difference is that the creature doesnt just move its muscles while being stimulated but it gains life just through one huge electilcal blow and is able to completly move on its own afterwards.
