I have always been fascinated by space and what happened in the early years of the space program. This book was a really interesting look back on the life of one of the most important astronauts in history told in his own words. I love biographies, because people are just fascinating, and this one was no different. Queen of the Falls, written by Chris Van Allsburg, is the story of the 1st woman to ever go over Niagra Falls in a barrel. What's even more incredible is that the woman was a 62-year-old widow who had previously taught classes on good manners. Talk about an unlikely daredevil! This is a great, TRUE story!

It's the the true story of Philippe Petit who walked & performed other feats on a wire between the twin towers in New York City in 1974. The whole story about how he even secretly set the whole thing up is quite interesting. Now that I've read his story about the towers, I 'd like to know what happened to him after that.
