Just few hours later i have had finished parachute jumping. It was just amazing!!
I was really waiting for this, but just before it, suddenly I became scared. But everything was okey, my instructor was very experienced, he checked all my equipment and give me instructions how i must operate.
It was one of the most petrified moments in my life!1 But it was breathtaking,too. My parents want to go to your town next month, so i hope we will meet soon.

In today's world of strict rules at schools it is important to wear uniform. Many people believe that wearing uniform should not be obligatory but others claim that students must wear the same clothes at school. Let us consider who is right?
In my opinion, I am against uniform at school as I do not like it at all. To begin with, school uniform does not allow pupils to express themselves and to wear what they want. Moreover, most of uniforms are ugly and out-of-date. In addition, some of uniforms for school are too expensive and ?cost like casual clothes?.(not clear)
However, there are people who think that children have to (unnatural) because school is not a place for standing out of a crowd. Also a casual outfit can cause some comparisons/INEQUALITY between rich or poorer students. And, of course, school is a place for only studYing (spelling) and everyone should be equally-dressed.
But I cannot agree with them. Firstly, for many pupils school is the place for expressing their own personality (omit). Secondly, in uniform/FORMAL CLOTHES people can feel uncomfortable, for example in skirts. Some girls do not want to wear them in winter because of freezing cold, but they are allowed to. And finally, there are not, actually, a lot of conflicts between rich and poor students. The main point is everybody must not insult each other just because of dresscode.
In conclusion, I have to say that as many people as many opinions. And it is up to you to decide what you think about this topic.

Nowadays discipline and talent have become a hot topic for discussion in recent years. Many people believe that SELF-discipline is more valuable than talent. But some workers and experts do not agree with this opinion.
In my personal opinion, talent is AN essential part of ANY ACTIVITY, BE IT work or A hobby. First of all, talented people have more privilEges than ?ones with strict rules concept? (UNCLEAR). FuRthermore, ?clever? artist COULD NOT compete with A sculptor that can motivate himself to create pieces of art. /WHO IS MOTIVATED AND DEDICATED TO HIS WORK.
Nevertheless, some people think that discipline plays A more important role in any occupation. In their view the atmosphere in AN office or ?study? EDICATIONAL INSTITUTION must be strict and (WHO?) should have limits of imagination.

Once Montag realised that his wife was not that woman, in which he had fallen in love. She did not have a soul and very often she spent her time listening to characters that did not even exist. One day Montag met one girl, her name was Clarissa, and since that moment his boring, grey evenings had become more unusual. People thought that Clarissa was crazy, but she only liked thinking and telling stories. Then, to Montag came an idea: why not <to> find out <~~from what does~~>WHERE the story of firemen begin? After reflecting this question Montag <~~took~~>MADE a choice, after which his fate exteremely changed.

Nowadays a lot of schools all over the world use distance learning due to coronavirus. This way we have found out the advantages and the disadvantages of this form of education.
On the one hand, there is no need to go out of your house and go to school. Sometimes it is better to study subjects at home, because you can be more concentrated and nobody will disturb you. Moreover, for some children school can be the worst place on Earth. They can get bulled, teased there and it is better for them to stay far away from this nightmare. /OPTION: Moreover, some children face name-calling and bullying at school. This unpleasant experience leads to the situation when they do not want to attend lessons at all./
~~However~~,(EXTRA) on the other hand, distance learning is only for those students who are responsaible. Night, a swamp covered in fog. Silence. A guy is walking alona a path.
Finally, i got there, - said Greg.
Greg had recently graduated from college and had arrived at the geologists camp...who were conducting research(проводили исследования) on the swamps. A large company was going to drain the swamps for industrial use. Nevertheless, Greg only cared about one thing - it promised good money to him.

It was already dark. It was strange, that no one mat him.
- Hey, - he shouted. Silence. - Where is everyone? - the swamp echoed. He continued walking toward the camp.

The camp consisted of several tents. - No sign of life, - he said. He looked into one of the tents. What..? - he said softly. He noticed a man, lying unconscious (без сознания). Greg found a first aid kit lying in the corner of the tent and began to provide first aid to poor man. Having done everything necessary, he tried to call for help on the radio.

-Reception? Do you hear me? - said someone from the radio.
-Hello, this is a geologists camp. We are in the swamps right now. And...something strange is happening here.
-This is the emergency dispatcher speaking to you. Explain what happened to you.
-People are missing. There is only one survivor but he is unconscious.

He took a step, then another. The body moved by itself. Greg controlled only his thoughts...
- Stop. It is all not true, it is a nightmare or...Of course! I read about swamp lights... They are not there, i am imagining them.
As soon as he thought that, his mind began to return to him. He was already up to his knees in water.
- I am not going to die here...Not today.
He returned to the tent and closed it. Ben was still unconscious.

He sat in the dark all night without sleep. A few hours later, rescuers arrived. They didnt find another geologists.

As it turned out later, the lights appear due to the gas that comes out of the swamp. It causes hallucinations.

It is an undeniable fact that social media incredibly changed our lives. But what about the impact? Did our live become better AND more comfortable or on the contrary?
On the one hand, social media is a great invention because nowadays a lot of teenagers and young people cannot imagine their lives without it. Social media is a plaсe where it is easy to find entertainment for every taste, to read news about current affaires and, of course, to communicate. There it is possible to make friends whose interests are close to yours.WITH THOSE WHOSE INTERESTS WE SHARE. This way, we became more sociable, made friends/BEFRIENDED with people that are far away from us, we are always aware of breaking news. All these things are thanks to social media.
On the other hand, lots of new problems related to social media have appeared so far. First of all, the main issue isS ARE/ . It is a problem that we can minimise but not to eradicate. FuRthermore, according to researches young people who checked their social media more than 3 times a day had poorer mental health and psychological distress. It is possible to say that we became less happy/FIT and we often feel sluggish that often affects our life /activity/. Also the self-estEEm of many young people is actually low due to cyber bullying in social media.
As for me, social media is a good place if it is used only for distractions and chatting with friends. Despite all the toxic content and rude people ON the Internet, social media is full of resources and useful functions.

Nowadays, more and more people want to become famous and it occurs from different reasons: lack of attention, problems in childhood, parental neglect, but the most obvious one is the financial opportunities, in the other words - money.

In my opinion, people want to be in the centre of attention, because of ~~the~~ huge financial rewards. First of all, money give a possibility of a happier life. Thanks to IT, it becomes possible to buy expensive things and services. Besides, finances allow PEOPLE to live a longer life too, because not every person has AN opportunity to recover from diseases, to buy expensive medicine, and etc.

Nevertheless, the desire for popularity may be caused not only BY financial benefits. For example, living in the family, where parents do not pay attention to their child can lead to lack of attention, so some neglected children seek support and attention in fame.

Also, people sometimes need approval from somebody, because of their low self-esteem and when a lot of people support and say something good, it grows.

Despite the fact that the ocean is vital for people, humanity doesn’t treat it too kindly, because it pollutes and destroys this valuable resource. Today, 40% of the world's oceans have been severely affected by human activity.

1 - Stop drinking bottled water

Every day millions of people around the world buy plastic water bottles and throw them away after one use. it takes at least 450 years for one plastic bottle to decompose.

2 - Don’t use disposable plastic cups, cutlery and straws*

More than 50% of the sea turtles found dead fed on some kind of marine debris. If we want to save marine life, we need to rethink our use of plastic.

It is often said by vegetarian activists that eating less meat and animal products has A good impact on our health and on the environment. However, many people firmly believe that meat is AN essential point/PART of our life and lack of it can ALSO cause ~~also~~ lack of vitamins. The purpose of my essay is to show up both positive and negative aspects of being A vegetarian.
To begin with, it is claimed that A vegetarian lifestyle is good for diabetics. They eat less meat with a high fat content, consequently,/WHICH LEADS TO/ RESULTS IN ... (OPTIONS) their physical and emotional state improves. Meanwhile, scientists also say that a vegetarian diet may weaken the immune system of people, EVEN if they do not seem to have severe heath problems. Secondly, the environmental advantages of eating less meat are countless. To sum up, it is indisputable that A vegetarian lifestyle has positive influences on our lives especially on those who have health issues. The Olympic Games contribute to the development of sports and the promotion of a healthy lifestyle to local residents, also the Olympics help to develop international cooperation./WE CANNOT DENY THAT THE OLIMPICS IS ONE OF THE MOST ANTICIPATED EVENT ATTRACTING MILLIONS OF SPECTATORS.
But is spending money on the Olympics worth it?
There are a lot of prons and cons to consider.

What's more, after the Olympic Games all facilities can be used for sport events or for sports CLUBS by locals.
On the other hand, the amount of money that is spent on the construction of new roads, communication systems, new metro lines, stadiums, swimming pools, training ~~bases~~ GROUNDS and other facilities is enormous. Also it is a big deal to organize a security system. ALSO, SECURITY MEASURES REQUIRE SIGNIFICANT SUMS OF MONEY.

Sport has always been an important part of our lives. My project is aimed at collecting and analyzing the data on sports participation by gender.
According to the chart, the highest number of males prefer/PLAY participation in football. The least interesting sport for males is yoga. Focusing on females, the most popular sport among questioned is yoga. It is clear from the chart, that football is significantLY LESS POPULAR than yoga AMONG WOMEN.
There is a big difference between males' and females' desire to participate/INTEREST in golf. The percentage of males participating in golf IS six times HIGHER than females. The other thing worth mentioning IS that the numbers of males and females that are into going to the gym are actually the same.
It can be concluded from the given information that a big ~~amount~~ NUMBER of females are keen on yoga. It can cause a problem such as a lack of coaches/INSTRUCTORS. Because of this, ONLY A LIMITED NUMBER OF women can do yoga. The best way to solve this problem is TO give more information about/PROMOTE other sports. Probably, females would like to try some other activity.
In conclusion, I am fully convinced that doing sports is important(,) because it helps to live a healthy lifestyle and it is a good way to spend free time. Sport opens a world of possibilities for us.

Sport has always been an important part of our lives. This bar chart shows the results of a carried out survey which is aimed at collecting the data on sports participation by gender.
The most noticeable feature is that football and golf are sports played mostly by males, while females enjoy yoga and aerobics. As can be seen from the chart, both men and women prefer almost equally health and fitness.
It is clear from the chart that the proportion of women who like running is slightly higher than those who are keen on hiking. The percentage of males who cycle is almost three times higher than males who dance or do aerobics.
From the given information it can be concluded that males don't participate in activities such as yoga, aerobics and dancing. I can suppose that men are not interested in these sports because of the stereotypes. Yoga is considered to be mostly females' sport, that is why probably males do not want to be odd and participate in it. One of the solutions may be promoting these activities to men and breaking the standards and stereotypes about this issue.
To sum up, I firmly believe that sport is essential because it develops our muscles and keeps our body fit. Besides, it contributes to all-round health and especially improves our mental health.

Nowadays the difference between women's and men's salaries is noticeable. It is said to be fair that women are paid less, because they may go on maternity leave. However, there are people who fight for women's rights in this question and try to make companies pay female workers more.
One argument in favour of the statement is that it is not profitable(efficient) for companies to pay employees who in fact do not work. Females on maternity leave simply earn money for doing nothing and this lasts for two or even three years. Besides, a low salary can make women continue their career. If a woman has a husband or relatives, she can ask them to take care of her child during working hours.
However, it is natural for females to go on maternity leave and it does not mean that they need to be paid less. There is no way to have a high salary for a woman who raises a child alone. For instance, men continue to work even if they have a child and they mostly do not participate in his upbringing. As for mothers, they look after their children carefully and do their natural work. Both men and women have their work to complete and they both should be paid equally.
To sum up, there are lots of opinions to be considered. As for me, I am for paying equally to females and males, because they both deserve it.

How can we deal with overpopulation?

According to the United Nations, world population has reached 8 billion people on November 15, 2022. Overpopulation is becoming more serious issue. It leads to further demand for limited resources of our planet and seeking them out people destroy natural habitats of many species.
Is is suggested that people should start dealing with overpopulation on individual level. The simpliest thing to do is to read more about this issue, make people around aware of it and spread knowledge among them. As for children, adoption needs to be considered as an option.
In high-fertility countries governments should take action more rapidly. Restriction of child marriage and raise of the legal age of marriage would be one of the most important decisions as it is allowed in several countries to have children at the age of 16 or even less. This may be a part of solution of overpopulation.
Obligatory education needs to be introduced as long as possible. There is a big possibility that if teenagers have prospectives and the necessary infrastructure is well-funded, then they will not think too much about having a child. Governments should provide teenagers with all the facilities so that they will be interested more in education and self-development.
