I am coming in midway through a school term with a Teacher change, to students who know more about IB currently than I do.

I absolutely relate to the IB Mission Statement, though, and hope to recommend some changes to the books selected from the Prescribed Reading List based on it.

I am confortable with my DP 1 class but would like to quickly catch up to where my DP 2 class already is.

I like the emphasis on understanding, respect, inclusion, caring and compassion.

I wonder if the approach leans in the direction of being a tad head-based.

I am intrigued and confused by its mission of working with governments.
