My aim was to create a cuboid style structure that would stand 8 ft from the ground. The aim of this from the directors of the festival was to make it engaging in some way. To begin I researched the theme of the festival for 2020, which was ‘the reflection of love’ things that came to mind around that we’re animals as many animals mate for life for example puffins. Another idea was of children’s films such as Disney films as most princess films end up falling in love. To build up height I rolled tin foil into balls and glued it to a think piece of cardboard. As you may understand the hour didn’t hold together very well so I used some tape over the top and then proceeded to use newspaper over the top, afterwards I painted it white. This was meant to be 2 doves.
