Weverse combines many interesting elements that are absent from most social media. These being:
-Fan to artist communication (and vice versa)
-Combining many companies in one platform. These are entertainment labels.
-Artists from these labels have their own section/group on Weverse, and fans of each artist can enter the space of their preferred artist.
-Artists can start live streams. Each artist's content and lives only appear to the subscribed fan base.
-Weverse also acts as a shop. Fans can buy official merchandise from Weverse's Co-app Weverse Shop. Weverse Shop also sells subscriptions to paid content.
-Weverse also live streams artists' concerts to fans who are from different countries.

Firstly I will be using Weverse in a number of ways. In a sense, I will use myself as a test subject. I have started using Weverse since this project was announced ( I have never used it before). I am familiarizing myself with how to use the platform and what I can access as a fan and what I can not. I will study the interactions and comments between the fans and artists to better understand the affinity space. I plan to look at fandoms as communities, and examine how each fandom interacts with one another differently. This includes terminology and other outside applications and platforms. In order to better understand Weverse as a social semiotic space, I will need to look at how it's affecting my life outside of the platform. As I do like many of the artists on Weverse, I will look at how interacting with them and their fans changes my interests or behavior (as opposed to simply listening to their music and not being involved in any fandom activities.) I am also planning to discuss this with fan members of the platform.
