The Nuers mostly live in the Nile Valley, South Sudan, and their primary language is Nuer language, a branch of the Nilo-Saharan family. Long before, the British started colonizing the region of today-Sudan. The Dinka were sided with the British, and the Nuer resistant. The Dinka considered the resisting Nuer as hostile, and so their “peace” relationship was over. However, a anthropologist claimed that Nuer were actually Dinka, suggesting the Nuer separated and created their own tribe and changed their culture over time.
