SOOO. I just installed a soaker hose this weekend in my garden (late in the game)! I highly recommend this!!!!!! Over head watering can cause dirt to get on your plant leaves and pooled water. When that happens, your plants become vulnerable to plant diseases. ALl my flowers in one bed have powdery mildew fungus! Got a spray this week, fingers crossed it works :)

I have a watering ban currently. It has been over a month of NO hose allowed. My garden isnt happy. I literally water by hand when I cant sneak using the soaker hose! I found someone who makes rains barrels, it is a local company (which makes me happy). Though, I have never used one before. Anyone have a rain barrel or know of someone who does? The one I may purchase is $60.
