This book was read to me by one of my closest friends mother. I remember enjoying the thought of how much the tree was giving the little boy. However, by the end of the story I was left with a feeling of sadness. This was one of the first books that taught me how much one is willing to give to one they love.

This was a book series we read in 5th grade. It was a fun, adventurous, book that really opened my mind up to fantasy novels. Although I don't read much of this type of genre it was a fun book to read with the class.

In middle school we read "Gone With The Wind" I very much disliked this book because it was too long and went into detail about the most insignificant things. Although the reading was sort of difficult to understand and keep up with (because of how long it was) it made me uninterested in this type of novel.

I found this book a few months ago and it really changed the way I view certain situations. My love for poetry has dramatically changed because of this book. There was so much emotion on each page and I felt such a connection while reading this.

I've always been very intrigued in the study of psychology and mental health, I was surprised when I found a book that told the story about a girl that had been diagnosed with schizophrenia. Of course this book had some fictional events but it was based around a real mental illness. After reading a few books like these I wanted to better understand their mind and how they view the world. Now I want to become a nurse practitioner with a specialty in psych and im glad I was able to find something that interests me as much as this did.
