1. Write 250 words on the following topic : What type of law firm do you think you would like to work in?
In my opinion, every student studying at the University of Law dreams of a stable and profitable job. Personally, I would like to work in a large law firm, because working there opens up great opportunities for the future.
Large law firms, also known as "full-service" firms, can range in size from several dozens of lawyers and employees, to several thousands of employees including lawyers, paralegals, administrative staff, human resource specialists, librarians and other staff - and can exist in multiple cities, states, and even countries.
Large law firms specialize in all areas of the law and typically have big legal departments, such as corporate, employment, and real estate groups.
Additionally, large law firms are able to handle most types of legal work, including business transactions (like mergers and acquisitions), large scale litigation, and criminal defense matters (especially "white-collar crimes".) Moreover, the typical client of a large law firm is a company, organization, or other high-stake entity, but may also represent individuals with legal issues spanning multiple practice areas.
To make my dreams come true, I will study successfully and hope to be an employee of a large law firm in the future.
2. Complete the sentences:
1)She would like to pursue her research as a new investigator.
2)The lawyer is interested in this case.
3)Criminal Law is a fast-paced late 20th century thriller.
4)She had gone for help to the department, which provides free legal assistance to union members facing eviction.
5)A law clinic would help you to start getting hands-on experience.
6)That job has become more time-consuming and complex.
7)On what grounds,he didn't say,but one guesses that he's thinking about the so-called reputational torts suits for nuisance, defamation or invasion of property.
8)This course covers limit of functions, differentiation, application of derivatives, and theory of integration with applications.
9)This course aims to close that knowledge gap while focussing on a single question: how much is a university education really worth?
10)Tort law remains maddeningly committed to principles that refuse easy explanation by a deontological morality.

Personally, I’m used to always relying on myself, although sometimes it’s hard, but the belief that no one will let you down wins.Maybe I’ve watched too many movies where the company’s partners betray their bosses and they(bosses) go bankrupt, but still the reason for reliability comes first for me.
- In second place is my stubbornness. For me some reason, as a child, I was not used to listening to the orders of someone older, such as “Bring me something, something, something”. It humiliated me, and I always had the question “Why can’ they get up and do it themselves?”.Similarly with the boss in the company. With this aspect it will be difficult for me to live in today’s society,it will be difficult to find a job, build a family... But this text about “If you had the opportunity...” so we continue.
- I thought about the third last reason. I wanted to give here of course technical aspects(to say that running the biggest company is so cool and it brings a lot of money),to say that you will later become popular (you will be recognized on the street and invited to various interviews..Oh,my fantasy),you will receive grants and win tenders..But it’s all material. It’s all you can lose in a very short period of time.
Therefore, the third reason for my choice is stability. No one will be able to provide this for you except yourself.
In my opinion, to take responsibility for starting a company yourself, you must first be morally prepared. You must combine the most important qualities of both the boss and the employee.
As for me...,I will continue to adhere to my principles, and sooner or later I will still reach my peak.

1 The type of firm you choose to work in can be a big career decision. Although there’s nothing stopping you moving from a large firm to a smaller firm or vice versa.

As for me, I think, it’s better to be a part of a big one. There is a plenty of reasons for it. The most important is that working in a small law firm doesn’t give you such large career prospects. It means, if you think that you are stuck at your position and you don’t make any progress, you almost cannot get a promotion because there will be no vacant place for you. In a big law firm such problem will be easier to solute because there are lots of employees and there’s a bigger chance that someone will be fired or something else. But in the same time, it will be much more difficult to work. As there are many employees on each position, you should do everything really good and prove that you are the best person for this job.

Also, if there are some conflicts, they won’t affect on team spirit in a big team then in small one. What’s more, I don’t know exactly what kind of firm I would like to work in. Constitutional, tort, criminal etc. laws are for me unstudied and almost unknown, so I should study them first to make my choice properly. Well, I think, that’s all I can say about my future job. I hope, after a year or two at the university I will know exactly in what way I should make my career.

2 1. She would like to pursue her dream and become a lawyer.

2. However nowadays I understand that the whole situations around this sphere a little but different, I didn’t change my opinion even dream to work in criminal low. First of all this is a very captivating and active appointment, you make a great contribute in citizen life, because people fell save and confident that nothing doesn’t threaten their lives. But, unfortunately we live at difficult time, where you can be in dangerous in unexpected place. A person thinks just about him and worries about their pocket, this is the main problem for policeman, money always attracted thieves. That why human needs a people who can defend and punish guilty. In criminal law you able to create or neutralize some rules to prevent misunderstandings. Also I hope that everyone realize how important that type of law, as without elementary rules our society will absorbs in chaos which lead to destruction of the economy and even to mass murder, that in not acceptable for civilized society.

1. I would like to work in a private law firm. That it was not great or very famous. But people will know if they turn to my firm, they will get what they want.
For everyone, choosing a law firm is very important in building their own career, because if you get into a bad firm, where everyone does not want to perform their duties, it can reflect their own desire for career development. In my opinion, immediately after graduating from university you do not need to go to work for a law firm, you need to think about your decision, it is better to earn money somewhere on part-time work, but to build an idea of what you want and what you need. For example, I do not want to earn millions, because if I have a huge salary that I can not spend with a small balance, I will collect a certain amount and leave this job. I do not want to be famous, I am very shy and afraid of the camera and a large group of people. Maybe this fear will leave me in time, but at the moment this is my position. If I were the boss, I would not hire the most expensive colleagues who are known throughout the country or the world. Firstly, I will not have enough money to pay them a salary, and secondly, these people will not perceive me as the main one, because I am unknown to them. I would be happy to hire students who have just graduated and decided to try their hand. Of course, I would not dismiss them at the first mistake, or lost court, I think everyone deserves a chance and not one chance. I could call my company a kind of training for young professionals in front of serious companies on a global scale. Of course, my law firm would have long-term professionals who would be a solid wall for beginners. I would call them adult life teachers. If I had the opportunity to open such a firm in Ukraine, our lawyers would be very honest, good people, with a good knowledge base of their specialty.
2. Complete the sentences:
1)She would like to persue her education.
2)Russia is interested in raising fuel prices around the world.
3)Criminal Law is the one of the disciplines I will study
4)I think I will have a free legal assistance in a few years
5)Law clinic is the best way to improve that you know something
6)University of law is more time-consuming that a high school
7)What do you know about nuisance, defamation, invasion of property?

Чуйко Наталія
ПОЛ-21
Lawyer (lawyer) - a natural person who has professional legal knowledge in the field of legal sciences, legislation and practice of its application. The profession of a lawyer by law is considered one of the oldest and most respected. The principles that today underlie the law of any democratic country are reflected even in ancient Greek mythology: the goddess of the law Eunomius and revenge - Nemesis judged those who dared to encroach on the principles of public order. Today it is the direct duty of lawyers of various specialties. Lawyers and legal advisers, prosecutors and notaries, judges and investigators ensure the implementation of laws and regulations, as well as guarantee the inevitability of punishment in case of non-compliance. It is simply impossible to imagine modern life without a huge army of lawyers. They help us to understand the intricacies of legal procedures. In addition to working in law enforcement agencies, courts, educational institutions, lawyers go into the field of copyright protection, market analysis for unfair competition, etc. A lawyer can work in the civil service, in a private company or as a self-employed person.

If a lawyer chooses a civil service, he can work as a prosecutor, judge, expert, investigator, state customs and tax service, etc.

Some of these specialties require some work experience and passing the appropriate exams.

High-class lawyers are also indispensable in elected bodies and in higher executive bodies.

If a lawyer chooses the private sector of the economy, he can protect the interests of clients in the courts, engage in consulting, work as a full-time lawyer, etc. Personally, I do not understand much about jurisprudence, and would hardly work as a lawyer. This is hard work, very responsible. And something creative, free is closer to me.
