The problem of Homelessness affects the whole nation, but in particular Hawaii suffers from it a lot. This problems effects the executive branch due to the amount of incidents where cops have to kick homeless people out of a particular area. I feel that everyone in their entirety have caused this issue, whilst it isn't the organizations or jobs but more so the less amount of work there is after someone is hired causing people to not afford rent or stuff as such. There are laws that deal with this specific issue but I feel that it isn't being enforced enough.

From what the article said online, the white house and Biden were going to try to make housing more affordable. Since a lot of people were becoming homeless due to their homes costing to much.

My solution

My plan is a long term plan, i would say while lowering the prices of housing was a good idea i do not think it was done at the right time. While making houses more affordable may have helped some people stay in their homes or even buy a new home it dosen't help people without a home find a new home. Most homeless people do not have the money to buy a new home. Many have lost their jobs since they do not have a home. My solution is while there are affordable homes, i feel that wages should go higher to help these people or they should be compensated with help to find a job so they can affored a home. This may cost afew more dollars on tax a dollar or 2 increase. i feel like the goverment should be involved in this. Some challenges i feel may arise are homeless people not wanting help or support and also drug abuse. I want to say all homelessness should be solved but there are always going to be people way to far gone. So to me it doesn't really matter if they don't want the help. We can always only help the people who want the help.
