Although she does still fit into a stereotype, it seems like her stereotype (being bougee) is less a part of her character compared to other characters. Not to mention she's the physical embodiment of an eyeroll. She has a very don't care attitude, not looking for trouble but also not taking any shit from anyone. Her thoughts wander in her classes, to things she likes better (shopping specifically) and... She barely speaks, even when spoken to; sometimes only making noises, especially near the beginning of the film. I wouldn't describe her as particularly alluring, but she is mysterious and unpredictable. The only thing we can infer she's thinking is "leave me alone." She also has anxious tendencies, such as nail biting; I've bitten my nails my whole life. She seems fidgety and with little self control as well, every once in a while doing something which seems questionable. Allison's thoughts are seemingly centered around the thoughts of her running away specifically, or forms of self harm (physical or social) - which is a cry for help. We can tell point blank that she has "issues," but crying for help in this sense means she likely isn't getting the support she needs. He's quiet, and hard to read. He appears to be hiding something through a shell of envelopment in his schoolwork. We later learn this is true, as he reveals he often feels depressed and dislikes himself.
Aside from this he's almost in a permanent state of correcting people, or lying to seem more socially credible than he actually is.
I didn't catch much of what his home life is like, but I'd assume he comes from a very academically centered home, rather than similar to other characters, a broke home.
