I asked what she meant and she described life skills needed in this culture. Things like budgeting for a new couple and for a big family; healthy menu planning using grocery ads; clothing repair and adaptations. Of course I think a Lenny Kravitz - make Goodwill clothes the coolest in school - hangout would be fun.
