Most of the barriers that parents face are all sourced from the parents or the teachers, or both, relying on assumptions and lack of communication. To overcome these barriers can be very easy if the proper amount of effort is given and traded between both the parents and the teachers, just by mustering up the courage to simply talk to one another, and communicate to one another on a more frequent basis, rather than when delivering bad news. In some unfortunate cases, each party seems to have a time restraints and are unable to pull time out of their busy schedules to work on relationship building, and believe a work overload should be addressed when conversing.
