         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>5<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;Grade Ceremony: </strong>Our students will take center stage to receive their end-of-year certificates and celebrate their incredible accomplishments from this academic year. This ceremony is a momentous occasion where we honor their hard work, dedication, and growth throughout their time in 5th grade. While we will not announce individual students' final promotion or placement statuses during the ceremony, rest assured that this information will be included in their final report cards.</p><ul><li><p><strong>Date:</strong>&nbsp;Thursday, May 23rd</p></li><li><p><strong>Time:</strong>&nbsp;9:00 am to 10:30 am</p></li><li><p><strong>Location:</strong>&nbsp;West Memorial Elementary School Gym</p></li><li><p><strong>Guests:</strong>&nbsp;Each student may bring up to 4 guests.</p></li><li><p><strong>Check-In: </strong>To help expedite the check-in process on the day of the ceremony, we encourage you to pre-register by scanning the attached QR code.</p></li><li><p><strong>Dress Code: </strong>Since the ceremony falls during the school day, we kindly request that students come dressed in their "Sunday best." If they plan to stay at school after the ceremony, we recommend they bring a change of clothes. Please note that they are not permitted to wear a cap and gown to the ceremony, as this tradition is reserved for their high school graduation.</p></li><li><p><strong>Dismissal:</strong>&nbsp;Students will be dismissed by 12:45 pm on Thursday, May 23rd, as it is an early dismissal day.</p></li><li><p><strong>Early Check-Out: </strong>Following the clap out, you'll have the chance to check out your student early upon our return to the classroom.&nbsp;If you're checking your student out early, please know that they will not miss any further celebrations.</p><p><br/></p></li></ul><p>After school ends on Thursday, May 23<sup>rd</sup>&nbsp;we invite students and parents to continue the fun at Main Event Katy!&nbsp;</p><p><br/></p><p><strong>5<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;Grade Main Event Celebration: </strong>An afternoon filled with fun and making memories as students bid farewell to their elementary school journey! Students will get to play&nbsp;and enjoy a variety of games. Plus, they'll be treated to delicious pizza and a refreshing drink. Please note that our dedicated PTA is diligently finalizing some small details to make this event even more special. Below are the details we have so far, as soon as we know more, we'll share it with you.</p><ul><li><p><strong>Date: </strong>Thursday, May 23rd</p></li><li><p><strong>Time: </strong>2:00 pm to 6:00 pm</p></li><li><p><strong>Location:</strong>&nbsp;Main Event Katy - 24401 Katy Fwy., Katy, TX 77494</p></li><li><p>Once we have a pay-and-go link for the Main Event celebration, we will send it out along with a Google Form that'll need to be completed in order for your student to attend.</p></li><li><p>Main Event will not be shutting down for our celebration and will remain open their normal business hours for customers. Your student is your responsibility during the event.</p></li><li><p>This is not a drop-and-go event. Parents are expected to stay with their students and celebrate everything they've accomplished this year.</p></li><li><p>Siblings will not be allowed to attend the Main Event party. This celebration is exclusively for West Memorial Elementary 5th-grade students and their parents.</p></li></ul>]]></description>
