VKontakte, shortened to VK, is a Russian based Social Media Service, That was started in 2006 by brothers, Pavel and Nikolai Durov. VK is one other most Controversial social media apps in the world, due to heavy political censorship and lenient guidelines on Mature content. The social media app has been blamed for many challenges that led to many suicides in the mid 2010s. The most famous being the blue whale challenge, which spread worldwide including the US.

RT, formerly Russia Today, is a MEDIA network owned and operated by the Russian Government. The MEDIA outlet has been shrouded in controversy, including being banned on Youtube. and showing sensitive content from the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014, and of course being owned and monetized by the Anti-Western Russian Government.

This is big because it's the main MEDIA source of many eastern europeans and the right alike

Behemoth, is a Polish blackened death metal band. The band was formed in 1991 in the city of Gdansk, a city in the north of Poland. Often considered one of the bands who put the Heavy Metal sub genre, “Blacked Death Metal” on the map. Their lyrics are often very grim, with Remarks of Christofobic beliefs, along with A LOT of Satanism being mentioned in song titles and lyrics alike.

This represents eastern europe due to the fact that many people listen and this Metal has a cult like following especially in Poland and the Nordics.

Charlie Hebdo, is a left leaning French satirical weekly magazine, published in newspapers. Created in 1970, by Georges Bernier, and Francois Cavanna. The magazine has been scrutinized for its depictions of politics and religion, including the controversial depiction of the Prophet Muhamed. After this cartoon of the prophet muhammed was released, two French born Algerian brothers attacked a Charlie Hebdo office in Paris’s 11th Arrondissement. The attack took the lives of 12 and injured 11 others. The two brothers were later killed. It was relieved that they were connected to Al-Qaeda, a radical Islamic terror group.

Charlie Hebdo relates to Europe because its a wildly popular comic with the left wing, and is also read in other European countries besides France

Psychology student, who fails a University Exam 6 times in a row. She then goes to put a brain chip to help her pass. She also takes care of an autistic math genius who discovered the formula that connects all forces in the world. In short he has to save humanity while running from people who want the chop back.

This connects because it's a great example of serbian anime, and trying out foreign styles with a serbian twist.

Secolo d’Italia( or Century of Italy in english) is an Italian Pro-Fascist newspaper. The newspaper was started in Rome in the late forties, near the start of the Post facism movement in Italy which started after World War ll. The newspaper has grown into prominence in recent years for its tight relationship with the Fratelli d'Italia (brothers of Italy) party, which is a powerful neo-Fascist party which grew under current ITalian prime minister Gerogia Meloni, and is the high party in italian parliament.

Junge Freiheit (or “Young Freedom) is a German right wing and conservative weekly newspaper. Started in 1980 by a then 19 year old Dieter Stein and his roommates in the north German City of Freiburg im Breisgau. By the mid 90s the newspaper was one of the most popular with the Right wing of Germany. Although it hasn't gone through as many scandals as some of the other media agencies we went over, it's very popular with Germany’s violet right.

Telegram Messenger, or Telegram for short is a Russian owned Social MEDIA, and Instant messaging, founded by the same brother as popular Eastern European social media app VKontakte (VK). The app was setting up as social app with DMs, (direct messages) and Chat forums people can share media, such as, politics, memes, and art, but also has been used for Selling illicit materials, such as “Ghost Guns”, and Drugs such as Fentanyl, Cocaine and Methamphetamine. The app is also the breeding ground for radical ideologies, such as White Supremacy, Neo Nazism.

All through a rough app many people in Russia, Poland, Serbia, and many other eastern european nations use the app for communicating with loved ones and friends

Kaijko and Kokosz is a Polish action packed comic book series. Created by Janusz Chirista, in 1971 and ended in 1992. This series is wildly popular in Poland, and has seen spinoffs by newer artists in recent years and a video game published back in 1994.

This represents Eastern Europe because it is one of the most popular and loved comics in all of the region. Especially in one of the largest countries in the region, Poland!

Joy Division were and English Rock band Formed in Salford, Greater Manchester, in 1976. The Band was composed of 4 members, lead singer Ian Curtis, Guitarist and keyboardist, Bernard Sumner, Bassist, Peter Hook, and drummer Stephen Morris. The Band was formed after Members of band the Attend a S-x Pistols Concert in June 1976. Joy Division started as a Punk band, but quickly Switched to a more Post Punk Rock band the. there biggest album to date is "Unknown Pleasures" which is one of the most Famous Post Punk Albums in history. unfortunately, a certain member of the band was heavily impacted by the success. Lead singer Ian Curtis was deeply effected by the popularity and other personal issues. unfortunately in May of 1980 at age 23 Ian Curtis, committed suicide on the eve of there first north American tour. although the band has been inactive since Curtis's death in 1980, there songs are still played to this day.

they because they are a British band the songs they have made are very down to earth with many people, not just in Europe but in ever corner of the globe.
