MARCH 7, 2025

Between the two options, I stand with the option A. Personally, if Leanne didn't want to fail the important exam, she should've studied hard for it. Her being my friend doesn't change the fact that what she did was wrong. Although she must've feared the thought of failing the exam, I get it, as a student myself. But it is just selfish cheating your way to success when others studied hard without using improper methods.

March 7, 2025

If I'd ever be in a situation like this, I would choose the option A: report Leanne because academic integrity is important, and cheating is unfair to others. Cheating is a decision made with conscious awareness, hence, if she values integrity, she wouldn't do such thing. Moreover, I believe that true friends are those who don't tolerate bad behaviors of their friends, but instead, educate them and let them learn from the consequences of their actions.

03-07-25

I would choose option B. I will stay silent to protect her but I'll correct her. As a bestfriend, I won't tolerate her wrongdoings. I will talk to her in a nice manner, give her advice that cheating is not something that she could do whenever she wants. Also, by saying something like "try to put yourself in someone else's shoes. Would you like it if someone cheated on you?" to make her realize that what she did is not good and unfair to our classmates. At the same time, I'll say that we can study together for me to be able to help her. However, If she does it again and she doesn't consider my advice then that's the time I would choose option A because I believe that once is enough but twice is too much.

07 March 2025

While I really feel guilty and sad about my friend Leanne, and if she really has a problem, I would really feel bad. I must choose Option A, to report leanne. While protecting our friendship is important, it is important to hold her accountable for what she did wrong. If I report her it would be fair for others and for my best friend because it will teach her that wrongdoings would mean there are consequences. I will still be her friend, listen to her, help her understand why she was wrong, and help her learn from this. If she needs help with school or stress, I will help her with it, within my ability.

I will not report her, yet I will not tolerate what she did. I might just tell her to tell the teacher her self, make her realize the situation she created, and tell her that I will not cover for her if she will do it again.

7 March 2025

This was a tough one because I have to pick between loyalty and honesty, but I believe that integrity should always prevail. If, indeed, Leanne made a mistake, then she should be ready for the fruits of it, and that would unfortunately go against her best interest.

If she really wanted to pass the exam, she should have studied like everyone else did. Not only did she go against the rules of the game as we call it, it was an utter disrespect to her friends and peer's hardwork. Although, I would view this particular event as a massive lesson and an eye-opener for her. For Leanne to grow and blossom into something better in the future.

MARCH 7, 2025

Among the two (2) options, I am confident to say that option A is my choice. I highly value honesty and fairness, especially in friendships I have. I won't tolerate someone's wrong just because of a reason that we are friends. A person naturally knows right from wrong. In cheating, there must be no exceptions. The pressure one holds in academics is normal and valid. However, it is important that one should use that pressure to earn the eagerness to exert more hardwork in studying, so that cheating is not the answer to examinations, not even an option. Friendship is magical, precious, and a gift—that's why it needs to be taken care of. But for me, a true friend is someone who helps his/her friend to become better and achieve the ultimate in life by doing good—not someone who's blinded by love and affection—instead, someone who opens the eyes of the another to see, realize, and learn from mistakes. Saving your friend to all circumstances with no limitations won't make you a good friend; saving him/her from becoming worst and a bad person makes you a real one.
