In my opinion, when he talks about life editing as a new and innovative way of thinking, it feels a bit strange because the concept of minimalism has been around for a long time. It’s interesting to see it from that perspective, but when he refers to ‘life editing,’ it sounds a bit exaggerated to me. While it’s true that we use more space now, drastically cutting things out of your life may not be the only way to achieve freedom and create space

In general, I really like the concept that "less is more", completely agree. I think a key to happiness is simplicity, definitely far from mediocrity. I think we should be aware of what we need and what we don't, what is vital, without leaving tastes aside.

We should carry a light suitcase both physically and psychologically.

The video discusses the idea that less can mean more when it comes to space and happiness. Often, we have more space than we actually need, which can lead to accumulating unnecessary things. Instead, a smaller, well-organized space with only the essentials can bring more well-being and satisfaction. The key is to optimize the space and focus on what truly matters, rather than just accumulating stuff

I think most people could see this very impossible scenario but it could be a goal if you experience once in your lifetime. After watch the TEDtalk I kinda understand what’s the main point. I think it doesn’t mean you will need to change your 9000 sq to a 400 but you could adjust a little bit your life to have more freedom as an example I would say something that I read years ago. When you try to get 1 usd more in your salary you would think you will need more than you have. As a result you will need a dolar more every time that you get one. So the life goes easy when you learn that sometime you really need to stop and ask the big question: “is this that I really need? And every time you will let go things easier than you would have thought before. In conclusion to answer the question in my opinion I really believe that will be happy if we get that freedom.

My personal perspective about TED Talks:

I appreciate the main idea of having fewer unnecessary things or reduce extreme shopping, less is definitely more. However, I disagree about perspective of this should mean living in a smaller space, I need space to breathe, I need space to feel that things are organized. A well-balanced home should feel open and peaceful, creating a sense of harmony.

One thing I liked about the TED Talk “Less Stuff, More Happiness” is how it emphasizes the idea that decluttering and living with less can lead to greater happiness and freedom. The speaker makes a compelling case for designing our spaces efficiently and focusing on what truly adds value to our lives rather than just accumulating possessions.

However, one aspect I don’t fully agree with is the assumption that minimalism works the same way for everyone. While downsizing and simplifying can be beneficial, some people may find joy and meaning in collecting items or having a larger space that accommodates their lifestyle. The talk presents minimalism as a universal solution, but personal preferences and needs vary.
