The first song that came to mind after watching the video "What we cal the news" was the school house song titled "shot heard round the world" this song tells us of the midnight ride of Paul Revere, and how he warned the minutemen of the British incoming. From what I have learned in high school I know some speculate whether Paul Revere actually did the ride. This just shows us like on the video news channels only give you one side of a story often times either Democratic or Republican in nature.

One of the ads from the recent Illinois Governors race made me think about the video I just watched. The ad posted by Rauner's team that stated that rival J.B> Pritzker removed his toilets to not have to pay taxes. This relates to the video because in the news they often put irrelevant information into the news, such as the finger in the food.

Every car ad you see on tv features a happy family, working middle class jobs, smiling and having two children, yet what they hide from you is the fact they have a $1,500 a month car payment and they do not eat to pay for this car each month.

Often times news channels will repeat a particular news story to imprint their view into your brain. Such as the one I notice on my news channels the fact they keep bringing up Hillary Clinton's emails . It definetely imprints it onto your mind, but also makes me change the channel, lol.
