To sum up, it seems obvious that media literacy courses should be mandatory in every school curriculum. The studies above indicate that school children today are struggling to discern the real from the fake, which can have serious consequences on their life. Therefore, it is obvious that simply teaching our school children to read and write is no longer enough. Students must also be taught to be digitally literate in order to know how to access and consume digital content in a positive and constructive way.

To sum up, media literacy should be taught in school. To come up the idea, media literacy is very effective for kids because they get rid of a hurdle as they move forward in their life. They also progress confidently in their research dreams. As a result, our children are our future and it should be our first wish that they do the right things in the future.

Finally, school-age children need to learn media literacy, and the most effective way is to add this type of course to the curriculum. The above studies have shown how deficient school children are in accessing and interpreting the right news. In order to raise a healthier generation, we need to teach children media literacy in schools and improve their perceptual abilities.

Consequently, children who use digital devices for long hours today need to receive media literacy training in order to be able to critically approach online information and analyze it correctly. This training not only provides them with the right information but also enables them to have different perspectives throughout their lives. We can only get rid of being a prisoner of false information by taking this training and raising awareness.

Media literacy is really important for true information and giving some information about it. According to the results of some research, students can’t understand which information is reliable and also can’t figure out even which site is academic. That’s why children especially need media literacy. In my opinion media literacy education is the best way for children to learn.

To summarize, all students must be taught media literacy. Because students who get media literacy instruction can quickly discriminate between what is proper and what is wrong. Thus, conscious individuals who can perceive and (cognitively) filter the messages coming from the media will be raised. As a result, children are individuals who will shape our future, so media literacy should be compulsory in schools in order to raise them more consciously.
