The designer that I was copying on this project was Chip Kidd. This was my very first time using Photoshop and it was exciting.

Pattern Making

This project was relatively simple but I feel like I learned a lot and improved so much. I feel like I improved because I was still learning the buttons but by the end of it I kind of got a hang of what all the buttons did. The most difficult part of this project was probably trying to remember all the steps and in what order to go about making a pattern. Overall this was a really fun project and I am super happy with my final design.

Donut Design

This project was pretty fun and I feel like it helped me learn a lot about photoshop and kind of get used to all the things you can do. At first it was slightly difficult to learn all the buttons and steps on how to make a donut but after I kept making donuts I kept getting better.

Logo Parody

The project went pretty well and was really fun. I liked this project because you could get pretty creative with the logo parodies and it was cool replicating different logos. One thing that was difficult was trying to keep the words in the same font as the original logo. My favorite design was my panda express parody because I thought it was the most creative and it turned out to be pretty similar to the actual logo.

This project was really fun because I feel that logo designing is really practical and there is a lot of thought that goes into a simple design. It was difficult though having to use the specific color pallet given to you when you think other colors not on the list would go better.

This project was fun although very difficult. I only say it was difficult because I have never used Photoshop before this class and it took a lot of learning and tutorials on how to make the people look how I wanted them to look. I definitely learned a lot in this project like how to blend 2 layers to make them look together.

Movie Poster Parody

This project went pretty good. I was good at recreating the background of the poster and making the title stand out. One thing that was difficult was putting in the picture of myself in the way that the original poster had the person. Overall this project was fun to make.

Famous Art Parody

This project went pretty well. I learned how to adjust colors of different objects. The American Gothic remake was my favourite one. This was my favorite because I felt like I was able to make it look like I was really the person and I like how I was able to make it look like I was holding coffee as the president.

Food Truck Logo

This project was fun. I learned how to make a very simple logo but the logo still have a purpose and a meaning behind it. Overall I thought it looked good.

This project went pretty well for me. I enjoyed this project because I thought it was cool to see designs on a thing people use everyday like a truck.

This project went well for me and was pretty fun. I learned how to use my Photoshop skills to make a real world item such as a menu for a food truck and make it stand out.

DIY Photoshop Week

This project was enjoyable. I enjoyed it because it allowed you to get as creative as you want. I learned how to make a graffiti-like picture through a multiple-step process.

I loved Graphic design class because I learned how to use Photoshop which was a skill I never knew how to do. In Photoshop I learned a ton of things like how to make glow effects, graffiti, glitch, effects, and the thought process you go through when making a logo. Some of my favorite projects where the DIY ones where you could use Photoshop on something that interests you. This was fun because I feel like I was more engaged when I was making a product that was interesting to me. Overall this Graphic Design class was really fun and I'm excited to continue and see what else I learn how to do.

KHS Grad Ticket

Working for a real client made me learn to follow a few restrictions and a deadline. However, this project was still really fun. It was fun trying to make something that could be used for a school event at the school I attend.

I learned that with client connected projects you have to follow many restrictions. With this particular project we could only use purple, gold, black, white, and gray. Even with having these restrictions the project was still fun to do.
