I really liked this, especially the "leisurite"part. haha. Who hit that stage in life? I need to go back! haha. I would say in life, Im somewhere around yellow and up! (skipping light red unless divorce counts haha) I wanted to find a picture depicting the stages of career because it hit home with me when reading in the book about it. I feel like I am at establishment but felt like I was starting to plateau, hence why I wanted to go back to school so bad. I'm still in the early stages of my career, but I do feel like I had reached "mastering" my craft and yearned for more knowledge to better myself in my field. So here I am, doing just that and resisting that plateau effect.

I really enjoyed reading about Steve Jobs, I haven't followed him too closely in the past, but always wanted to learn more. To be honest, I really like him, he reminds me of my oldest brother. From his business ethics down to his clothing. They seem very similar to me, and I may be biased but my brother is also brilliant. His mind works very similar to Steve's, being he is very work oriented and lacks those necessary human skills. My brother may have learned a few more human skills than Steve had due to his personal life, but still very similar to me. I like Steve.

Rodney Atkins, country music star. When I first started reading about Adkins, I thought we were talking about this Atkins....I was really impressed with his business abilities as well as his artistic ones...haha not saying that this Atkins doesn't have any business abilities or that Adkins doesn't either, but clearly these are different men. Blame it on my southern country heart.

While going over this in class, I was more stunned by the fact that this is still such a hot topic among hires. In my experience gender and ethnic diversity hasn't been seen as an issue. I have always worked with a wide range of ethnic groups as well as plenty male to female groups. In fact my job dominates in female employees. Nevertheless, I most definitely believe diversity is key to any successful company.
