We live in an imperfect, unstable and unsafe society nowadays, with inner and outer conflicts, social issues related to inequalities and lack of opportunities, where money and wealth seem to dominate and social status is clearly defined and absolutely crucial, based on wealth…


Why then should we reject the Community in “The Giver”? Let’s find some elements/aspect/passages in the novel that show/prove that life in Jona’s Community would NOT be the best and most beneficial option for us, imperfect Humans…
