The Philippine Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) is a non-profit organization in the Philippines that is dedicated to promoting the humane treatment of dogs and cats. They rescue, rehabilitate, and help secure new homes for rescued and abandoned for the said animals.

Reasons:

-Every living thing deserves to be treated well.

-Raise awareness about responsible pet ownership.

-Be a voice for change for abused and neglected animals.

Work Rice

You can help farmers with their work. You can contribute to the local community, interact with farmers, and receive rice from them as a reward.

The work involves

Helping with farm work, weeding, harvesting rice, and creating package designs etc.

Reason

・We learned that farmers are getting older, and we thought that volunteering here would help them out.

・We don't have many opportunities to do farming, so we wanted to try it once.

・Rice has become more expensive, so we are happy to receive rice as a reward.

Lion Heart is a nonprofit organization in Japan.

The organization gives poor or lonely children a space to eat dinner for free and to study.

Their goal is to create a world that all children can lead their lives happily and fulfilling.

Reasons:

‐All Children should be guaranteed enough food and safe space to relax and study.

‐It may be a simplest way to help children and to make Japan's future better for everyone.

‐Even we, as high school students can help.
