In 2021 there were 20,726 deaths caused by gun violence. 693 mass shootings, 2/3 thirds of cities have seen more homicides in 2021 than 2020, and 18.1 million guns sold LEGALLY. The second amendment states that we have the right to bare arms.

Others think that they should create a new amendment that overtights the 2nd amendment. The only way that the 2nd amendment can be overridden is by the ratification of a new amendment. 

Personally I think guns should not be banned. People kill people, guns do not kill people. The gun is only the object used to kill.
