My Favorite Person
My favorite person is my cousin Josh Hummel, but my nickname for him is Joshy Pants. I would describe his personality as hilarious, phenomenal, entertaining, enjoyable, smart and lots more! The first thing that someone would notice about Josh is that he is a very positive person. Josh Hummel has brown hair and green eyes. The kind of casual clothes that Josh wears is usually hilarious shirts, jeans and sunglasses. He is my favorite and best cousin ever! Joshy Pants is one of my favorite people because he's so entertaining! I always have a blast with him no matter what and he is how every cousin should be! Josh even lets my cousin Lexi (who is around my age) and I drive the golf court! Josh Hummel always puts a smile on my face!

The Roseate Spoonbill
Have you ever heard of a Roseate spoonbill? A Roseate spoonbill is a heronlike bird that lives in the shallow wetlands and the mangrove swamps of the Southern Coast. This species of spoonbills is pink with a bald head. They have a long, flat, spoon-shaped bill, and moderately long reddish legs. This is the physical characteristics in adult stages of life. Interesting fact about this sociable bird is that the collective noun of the Roseate spoonbill is a "bowl"; "A bowl of Roseate spoonbills just caught the corner of my eye." Did you know that Roseate spoonbill chick's bills are actually straight? They have to grow in to their spoon-shaped bills. The oldest wild Roseate spoonbill was found in the Florida Keys in 2006; the bird was 16 years old. The diet of this gorgeous bird is small fish, shrimp, mollusks, snails and insects. My mom and I have even seen one on our own backyard pond; they sure are interesting!

Lights Out
Flicker, flash, next second, dark as midnight. The power went out. No one knows who. Screams of students spread through out the halls. It was the week that middle schoolers were away at camp, so it was just the lower school kids. "I will be right back to see what happened, you kids stay here", declared Mrs. Lutke. Mrs. Lutke left the room, all of us huddled up with our friends shriveling in fear and confusion. Knock, Knock! We all screamed, but it was only our playground lady, Mrs. Billet, walking around checking on the classrooms and setting up lanterns for some light. Mrs. Billet told us to move our desk toward the windows and opened the blinds for light. "Mrs. Lutke will be back soon, you kids move your desk and stay still", Mrs. Billet said quietly. "I wondered who made the power go out?", said Makenna frighteningly. "Probably, a ghost", Jaden said trying to scared us all. After a lot of waiting and scaring each other, Mrs. Lutke returned. She obviously, scared us all coming through that door and especially since she wearing a sheet over her head. After calming down from her entrance, we ask her what happened and why she was wearing a sheet over her head. "I walked down the hall to head to Mr. Onderlinde's office to see what had happened, when I ran into Mrs. Billet, of course she had scared me", Mrs. Lutke said with a little chuckle in her voice. "I ask Mrs. Billet to go check on you guys. After talking to her, I continued down the hall, the weirdest thing is that I have seemed to have lost my way. I decided to head to Mrs. Terborg's room because I know she has been her a while so I figured she knew her away the school. I ask her what had happened, but she said not to worry and just to head back to class. She handed me some flashlights and I headed back. The weirdest thing is that even with the flashlights, I couldn't find Mr. Onderlinde's office. So I just headed back" explained Mrs. Lutke. "Wait, you still haven't told us about the sheet on your head?", I said with a sense of fear and questioning in my voice. "Oh yes, sorry. You know that janitors closet on the way over to my classroom?" asked Mrs. Lutke. "Yes", we all said deep into Mrs. Lutkes words. "Ok, well, I looked in that closet to see if their was anything we could use in our classroom. I found some sheets and I figured we could make a fort and read", Mrs. Lutke said, suddenly with excitement. We all got excited and started to build the fort. After we were all snuggled up in the fort, Mrs. Lutke told us creepy stories and we all shook like a leaf on a cold, winding night. The flashlights flickered and we all screamed again! After we calmed down, we all looked around for Mrs. Lutke. "Mrs.Lutke!",we all shouted. We looked around the classroom in fear. Mrs. Lutke was nowhere to be seen.

It is a super easy book to read with a great flow. I love how this book is so moving, it sure inspires you to think of how great teachers really are. "Because of Mr. Terupt" has great characters, with the book dividing into short sections with the point of view of each character with whats going on in the story. Whats really fun is the anticipation feeling that the book leaves. You feel like your on the edge of your seat with all the exciting cliff hangers. Mr. Terupt is a great teacher and he sure inspires you to be a better person. I think everyone should read the book "Because of Mr. Terupt" because its bond to be your favorite book just like me.

"My Mystical Ocean Room"
Want to learn the directions of my "Mystical Ocean Room"? If so, listen to these directions. When you walk up the stairs closes to the dinning room, you will see the door to my "Mystical Ocean Room". First, you will step into my room and see my beautiful, nautical bed at the back of my room. To the left of the door, is a book shelf and next to that is soon to be a desk. Above that soon to be desk area, there is a small window. Next, to the left of the door, is my wicker, hanging egg chair. Also to the left of my door, is a little wall separating the little chill area from the shower and toilet room. After you have seen that wall, you will also see my sink and bathroom counter top area. In that area, is the little shower and toilet room. After that to the left, you will see three, medium-size windows that overlook the courtyard. You will also see a tall, white shelf. Next to that shelf, is my big, canopy, nautical gray bed! To the right of my bed, is a small white nightstand with a turquoise and beach rope lamp on it. If you look to the right of my bed and back a bit, you will see a nautical gray dresser that matches my bed. On that dresser, I have a tank/cage for my two female, roborovski hamsters, Créme and Sugar! While you are facing and enjoying Créme and Sugar, be sure to look to the left and see the door to my closet! I hope you had a magical, mermaid time learning the directions of my room and felt like you were in my "Mystical Ocean Room"!

I love doing arts and crafts and being creative. I very much, dislike doing the long quizzes/tests on the book. What I'd like to do in the future is put together a play for the book, do costumes, sets and perform for parents and students! It would be very fun to do the book, movie trailer again. We could also do something fun like get in groups and come up with anything approve by you, Mrs. Ackley! Over all, I very much liked the book and the projects!

"Capture the Flag"
Let me tell you about a time I played the game, "Capture the Flag" as a whole neighborhood. We were playing at our neighbor's, the Wilson's house. First, we divided into teams with two team captains. Then, we decided for each team if our base was the back or front yard and where each team's jail would be. Next, with our team we went to our base and decided where to conceal our flag. After that, we started the game. It was so much fun! Ethan and I's favorite babysitter, Miss Jessica, was technically the whole entire neighborhood's babysitter that night. She was like our referee. We all had a blast with her! Finally, the game was going amazingly and our captain crossed to the other side looking for the opponent team's flag. Lastly, our captain found the other team's flag and we won! We played a bunch of rounds that flew by like lighting and then it was time for us to go home for the night. I was brought to the other team's jail a lot but, I will never forget this amazing, fun and exciting night!

Chipotle plays soft, quiet pop musica. Chipotle has all organic healthy foods with meat that comes from free-range/well treated animals. The service and the food at Chipotle is very good.

I believe all food should be farmed/made organic with no GMO's or perservatives. There are heath benefits to organic food as well. Did you know that GMO's and perservatives cause cancer and diabetes? It is also better for the environment. Chemicals are sprayed on to to plants and crops that actually change the mutation of the plant or crop. So, technically speaking, most plants or crops we eat today or not the same as back then. Organic food also helps maintain animal population. Animals are fed and treated better on organic farms. Animals are also not burned or slowly killed for food but killed instantly, so they feel no pain. You may say that organic food is too expensive. Well, it is but it is because it is real food that God created us to actuallyeat. Besides, cancer is expensive too.
