I liked Christian's policy brief on Healthy Leadership. It covered in a very strong and kind ways, how leaders should embody their values and vision in a walk the talk way.

I like how she developed her arguments through framing that showed the long arc thinking (not costs but investments), how her story strengthened her point, and how the final graph summarised the benefits for all: the company, the team, the leader. Excellent presentation that felt authentic too!

I'd like to thank my presentation group (5) and my Program group too for their feedback, support, and attention during today and the two-week course. It was nice being in such great company. I will improve my policy brief, giving it more content and context, and develop something personal based on my bank of stories (to develop).

I learnt quite a few things listening to the briefs in my group! From pet food to escooter safety then aged-care fall prevention. They are all memorable!

All three were great. Melissa's brief on dog food quality and safety was memorable because it resonated with personal experience and effectively drove the point home.

I learned just how hard it is to avoid jargon! Use others as sounding boards (we are all in our echo chambers), and revise one last time to make sure everything is plain, simple language.

I liked all the policy briefs presented. They all had something unique- a relateable story, great on attention arousing, images speaking to 100 words, and pace and tone of delivery.

I really appreciated hearing everyone’s presentations today and the different perspectives each person brought to the discussion. Lauren’s policy brief on emergency preparedness especially stood out to me because it connected larger policy concerns to real-world situations that impact communities directly, which made it feel very relevant and relatable.

I also appreciated Dario’s presentation and his thoughtful discussion surrounding equality and the importance of allowing partners to make choices without stigma or taboos. Overall, I thought everyone in our session did a wonderful job presenting meaningful topics in an engaging and authentic way.

One thing I would like to celebrate about my policy brief was my ability to connect a complex organizational issue to real-world leadership and workplace experiences in a way that felt meaningful and authentic to me. I was also proud of stepping outside of my comfort zone and presenting a topic that I care deeply about.

Although I can and do speak publicly in many settings, I still wrestle with public speaking at times. One area I would continue working on is becoming more concise and confident while balancing important information within limited presentation time.

Once again, I was impressed with the level of talent and depth of knowledge of the participants in this course. While I learned from each, perhaps what I will remember most is that the issues surrounding e-scooters with kids and no regulations - a common issue in communities across the globe!

Every policy brief was unique and interesting. I liked the way my group members used data to illustrate the human impact of the problems that they are seeking to solve. Yvette made food deserts tangible, Magdalena illustrated the mismatch in aid and impact timelines, and Joseph conveyed the seriousness of the current Ebola outbreak and the importance of addressing it thoughtfully.

I enjoyed all of the briefs and appreciate the time these wonderful folks put into getting them done. Sam did an extraordinary work on waste and sanitation in New York, and it resonated so well with me looking back at the same situation here in Liberia three years ago.

I learned that connecting arts to data about the impact it has on issues and the economy upends people's expectations and illustrates how artists can help solve pressing issues in creative ways.

One thing I want to celebrate about my brief is the specificity of the evidence. I came in with verified data, concrete figures, and three recommendations that are actionable within existing municipal authority. I feel good about the fact that this brief gives decision-makers something real to act on, not just something to think about.

Loved learning about the challenges others are facing because it helps me feel not alone in these big tricky situations. I thought Ryan's use of data and factual approach to his argument was strong AND I can learn from him because I tend to lean more into emotional appeals.

I thought every presenter did a fabulous job landing the plane on their subject matters. the slides were all really great. and everyone hit their deadlines!!!

I enjoyed all the briefs in our group! It was a wonderful mix of first person experience with broader issues that impact large swaths of various populations. We all had good feedback for one another and it was great to hear that we all felt a bit more knowledgeable about each others' topics by the end of this short hour.

I truly appreciated the diversity of topics and how great the feedback was in my group. We really dug into what worked and why for each person and it was very unifying. I think we each took something from each presentation that we would like to do in the future.

Delivering in front of others is so dramatically different than practicing by yourself. I was editing my presentation as I went .. noticing that I needed some additional internal data from our agency to best convince my audience when I do present this to them

I really enjoyed all three policy briefs! I liked that each of us brought in different aspects of what was learned in class: Elizeu started with a compelling statistic that drew in my attention; Mary had an excellent call to action and started with a story that made it personal; Mariam had an excellent visual and had a compelling argument for her audience. Overall, this was a great group!

Also I must learn how to play video while in a Zoom meeting so folks could actually hear the video I wanted to use to illustrate how men are talking about menopause on social media. I was disappointed that I lost that impact point.
