Not only did they love the fashion, but the music as well. Mixtapes were something that people used to listen to music on. Music was a big part of 80s. And most Importantly, LOTS OF PARTIES.       In the 80's there were a lot of diseases going around like hepatitis, Aids,Malaria,Tuberculosis (ect.)
 Pablo DT Valenzuela invented the hepatitis b vaccination which really impacted our world so people were happier and not as sick. 
The president at the time was Ronald Reagan and before he was a governor he was an actor and five years later he was our great and wonderful president.
The cold war was a big part of the 80's,  the Berlin wall crumbled and millions of people got scared that Germany was going to attack. 
In 2019 we have iphones that are touch screen and were very thin so they also break easy  and in the 1980's the phones were thick and hard to break also they weren't touch screen. You have to pay 25 cents per text so there were alot of problems because people were trolling.
