Dr. Sadi thought he had the cure of many diseases including cancer and HIV. He believed that the government was blocking his cure for everyone so the Red Flag suppression to authority, because the government and pharmaceutical company's didn't want him to share his cures. the emotional connection is that these diseases are very serous and can can lead to death so many people will try anything to help themselves and there loved ones and this man is using those emotions to support his idea.

The picture below shows the United States, and which state's Laws allow faith-healing and religious choices to allow parents to withhold medical care for their children. Only six states do they allow NO exceptions for criminal charges for child endangerment due to religious reasons. On the other hand there are also six sates, including Idaho, that allow religious exemptions for things like manslaughter of a child. Two of the main reasons for belief is Ideology, because religious believers allow their faith to override any other information, and Agenticity, because may people believe that the government and Ministry of Health is making up, or causing worse sicknesses with their 'cures' and pills. a two red flags are Ideological Support and Mystical Energy.

The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health (USA) talks about Traditional Chinese medicine, also referred to as TCM, and spoke about its origins, safety concerns, and effectiveness. TCM has several red flags involved with it, most predominantly are Ancient Wisdom and Mystical Energy. Both of these red flags a problem because just because they have things like tai chi which is all about balancing energy, and that these remedies and techniques have been around scene ancient times, people think that this means they work. Also a reason for belief is perception and observation, because taking the drug or doing something like tai chi and feeling better afterwards shows that it 'worked' even thought this most likely can be put towards a placebo effect.

Healing crystals use emotional connection because people who are in need of healing tend to use these crystal and they get sucked into the fear or sadness that comes with their illness. Perception and observation is another reason for belief because people that are using healing crystals to 'cure' something like depression might find themselves experiencing a placebo effect and not really be getting better, but thinking they are and then attributing this to the crystals. The red flag in mystical energy, because the idea that somehow running a crystal over your body will make a diseases go away because of 'mystical energy' is ridiculo.

The website below shows a site that sells all natural medicine and remedies. The reason for belief is once again emotional connection, because if someone is sick then they would be more likely to spend money on these 'miracle' cures'. also Ideology comes into play because many new age believers are more skeptical to theses things. Red flags are obviously the All Natural mention, because while all the ingredients might be 'all natural' there is very little testing that goes into seeing if they actually do what they claim to do, which in this case is everything from skin care to immune supplements for cancer patients.

The video below is a clip from an episode of Dr. Oz dealing with four different weight loss remedies. One of the reasons for belief for this clip is that Doctor Oz is a famous 'Doctor' with his own TV show, and people tend to believe things that he promotes and people tend to trust his judgment over doing their own research. Two of the red flags in this video clip are the 'All Natural' claim for the remedies, and Ancient Wisdom, which Dr. Oz mentions when talking about how long these Natural remedies have been around for, so they must work.

The advertisement below is about the 'miracle fat buster' Garcinia Cambogia. This supplement is made from the plant Garcinia Cambogia, which looks like a green pumpkin. The video talks about how its a 'manacle pill', and prays on the persons emotions (Emotional Connection) about their weight to sell their product. Also, even though its an animation, they use the reason for belief of pattern and observation for when the woman takes the pill on screen and gets thinner. This is a common tactic that people do, when they put before and after pictures beside one another and make people amazed by the changes. Finally the main red flag on this is that its 'All Natural', and even with its 'scientific facts' these pills are so fake that a testing showed that some of the 'claimed ingredients' aren't even in all the pill!

Ben Goldacre's TED talk spoke about why he became and epidemiologist (someone who studies and analyses the control of diseases) and what to look out for when reading about something that 'bad' or 'cures' diseases with no scientific backing to it. He also uses "Dr." Gillian McKeith, a woman who had her own TV show, using her Appeal as an Authority figure to incite people into believing what she has to say, yet her degree was from an online site that she paid $60 for and there four her opinions as a "doctor" are invalid. He also talked about how people can skew data from clinical trails, and that some times the data just disperses, even though it is critical to have that information.

This image is bottle of snake oil, which is now uses a term of 'fake medicine that people are trying to sell me'. This has the flag for all natural, because some how the 'natural' oil from a snake can curse sicknesses. The reason for belief simplicity because people believe that sometimes if i take something and then get better it must have been because of the product, not just because i was naturally feeling better or the sickness cleared up on its own.
