I enjoyed this project because it forced me to slow down, observe various objects, and engage with art. I had already had a passion for taking photos, so for me, this was a creative outlet for me to showcase my photos. One thing I've taken away from this project is my newfound appreciation for the little things I had never thought of as art. I do believe that visual arts are important because if art didn't exist, then the world would be bland and cookie-cutter. Art makes things unique and special in their own way; art is all around us, and many times people are blind to it.
