Forests still cover about 30 percent of the world's land area, but swaths the size of Panama are lost each and every year.a habitat or home i also destoryed. this occurs because trees are cut down to be used or sold as fule or timber while cleared land is used for pasture or live stock and  plantations.
Desertification is a type of land degradation in which a dry land region becomes arid typically  loses its bodies of water and vegetation  plus wildlife it is caused by a variety of factors such as climate change and human activites desertification is a signifcant gobal ecological and enviormental promble areas affected drylands occupy approximately 40-41 percent of earths land area and home to 2 billion people it has been eastimated that some 10-20 percent of drylands are already degraded  the total area affected by desertification beging between 6 and 12 square kilometers that about 1-6 percent of the inhabitas of drylands live in desertified areas and that a billion people are under threat from further desertification.

we also talked about how farmers in Africa and how they plant there  food and grow their trees. when they grow there trees, they cut the branches from the tree to make it grow faster.                                                                                                              
Another way how they grow plants is that they put rocks in the soil to make it stronger  and then you can start planting. then when they get the plants they sell them to make extra money for other goods.
