As a college student learning more in depth about this topic I have been able to learn about differentiated instruction in many of my classes. I have learned that it is important to work on both things you need to improve on and things you do well. All students learn at different speeds, adjust the time for homework if needed. All students should be getting attention while learning even if they excel in certain subjects. Teachers should be able to adjust learning instruction as well, this way all students feel that they understand what is being taught. I think differentiated instruction should also include one-on-one support for students, this way the teacher can see weaknesses and strengths. Differentiated reading instruction should involve a teacher giving each student the correct level of support they need to succeed.
