He feels if people took it seriously it would be more effective and much more fun. I however love the idea of what Miller moment is designed to do.  I also appreciate that you are seeking feedback to make it better.   My son did say that he can see how it’s good for kids who maybe don’t know how to handle stress or who need to be motivated.   He just saw lots not take it seriously so it seemed like wasted time.

They would rather see it used as a study hall, a time to make corrections, or a period to relax. The plus side is the Bobcat Broadcasting where they get to connect with their fellow classmates. I think they use it for study time, time to make up work, do homework, or chat with friends. I think if it were more flexible in what they could work on, it would be good. He said he found it boring sometimes and too structured/strict. Bobcat Broadcasting is great but the worksheets & PowerPoints should be optional, for students who want to do them. Kids who have extra curriculars after school will appreciate the extra time to do schoolwork during Miller Moment. My high schooler uses Dawson's Eagle hour to do work. My daughter loves it.
