         <description><![CDATA[<p>Collection of constrained (Once mastered do not need to reteach)  Phonemic awareness, alphabetics, phonics, and fluency and unconstrained skills (never ending and no end point) Vocabulary and comprehension</p><p><br></p><p>Follow the Lesson plan for Direct instruction to have the effective size 0.59.</p><p>Learning of a new skill requires direct instruction. If not then student practice to transfer knowledge.</p><p>Constrained skill are foundational.</p><p>5 dimensions of vocabulary- generalization, application, breadth, precision, availability </p><p>Vocabulary is a strong predictor of reading comprehension and the 0.67 effect size.</p>]]></description>
