Patient's Name: Dr. Phil 

Patient's Behavior: Hollywood celebrity who uses his fame and credibility as a mental health professional to gain the trust of mentally-ill psychiatric patients, only to turn around and publicly humiliate them for the sake of good television ratings and advertising dollars. 

Patient's Words: In an interview aired on the show, Dr Phil told a man who was being abused by his wife to "not defend himself and walk away." 
"If you stay with a destructive partner, then you choose the consequences of pain and suffering." 

Conclusion: This patient suffers from severe depression and BPD.

On her show, The Wendy Williams Show, she reveals personal private information and cultivating gossip about celebrities and other human beings as seemingly "hot topics." Her show promotes racism against anyone who doesn't fit her demographic. The patient has made fun of a rapper's appearance before saying that he died, insulted her guests, specifically Joaquin Phoenix. Patient is quite arrogant; she defended R. Kelly, who had long been convicted of s*xual abuse, joked about celebrity s*x therapist Amie Harwick's death, misgendered a trans athlete and made ill-informed, transphobic jokes able hits, she asked Whitney Houston how her drug use affected her family. (Houston hung up on her.) 


Patients words: "Breastfeeding is only a particular amount of time. The rest of your life, your breasts are s*xual things." 
"Trey songz was arrested yesterday for allegedly beating up a woman that he was dating... He was charged with domestic assault. Isn't he just so dreamy?" 
"Olivia, you're going to look like the worst mother that's ever done it," 
"She (Britney Spears) still needs to be controlled, and she needs to have someone that's controlling her finances, and controlling who she is friends with and where she goes and what time she's coming in."

Conclusion: Due to losing her mom and marriage, and struggling with dr*g addiction, the patient is unhappy with herself and lonely. She simply lacks self-confidence and projects her insecurities on others to make herself feel better.

Recommendation: Patient needs to build positive relationships with people who appreciate her. As well, patient needs to learn to be assertive and respect other people's opinions.
