            Hello my name is Verlisa Edmond and bias against the Obamacare Act.The affordable care act also known as Obamacare is a US healthcare reform law that was intended to expand and improves access to health care and curb spending through regulations and taxes. The Affordable Care Act’s main focus is providing more Americans with access to affordable health insurance, improving the quality of health care and health insurance, while regulating the health insurance industry, and reducing health care spending in the US. Obamacare has many benefits like allowing uninsured Americans to obtain low cost health benefits. Even going as far to allowing assistance with out of pocket health cost. And allowing many people the inability to be dropped or be denied coverage in the event that he or she gets sick.
            Obamacare also ensures that health insurance companies can not make unreasonable hikes in existing rates. Although these are very beneficial healthcare regulations that have the ability to help millions of people. When it comes to the overall outcome the benefits that are supposed to be helping many Americans. May potentially be doing more harm than good. In order to ensure millions of people Obamacare proposes new taxes on people with a high income as well as the healthcare industry. This is not a benefit to the public. If you increase taxes on people who own businesses that happen to be in the category of people with higher than average incomes. They will then raise the cost of good and services associated with those businesses. Forcing the consuming to have to pay those taxes.
            This also eliminates more job creation due to the businesses owner having to pay higher taxes. Means that many business owners could potentially cut potential jobs as a way to save money in the event they have to pay higher taxes. The same is true for the healthcare industry. You increase the amount of taxes a healthcare institution must pay. That cost is then transferred to the consumer which includes the millions of Americans who are supposed to be benefiting from Obamacare.
