         <description><![CDATA[<p>when Egypt was reunited pyramids were built smaller and the rulers had less wealth in their hands. The middle class gained items from consumers such as jewelry and  books. The Middle Kingdom was a great time for literature. scribes would write for thousands of years due to this. The pharaohs were building fortresses in the western and eastern delta to keep out invading Libyans and people of the Levant, respectively.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>In 332 BCE the young Alexander declared himself pharaoh. Egypt was being controlled by Ptolemy establishing a dynasty that lasted for almost three hundred years. After Cleopatra died the Romans used their people to farm food for its troops. </p>]]></description>
