Narmer was the first king of Egypt who peacefully unified the country at the beginning of the first dynasty period. Narmer’s identity is the subject of ongoing debates. The upper and lower Egypt became united under a king that was later called a pharaoh.

Old Kingdom (2650-2150) BCE

The king was powerful enough to mobilize a large number of people to move to Giza during the farming off-season and help build a pyramid. Even if the nation was sometimes divided into strife, they always reunited eventually.

Middle Kingdom (2040-1640) BCE

when Egypt was reunited pyramids were built smaller and the rulers had less wealth in their hands. The middle class gained items from consumers such as jewelry and books. The Middle Kingdom was a great time for literature. scribes would write for thousands of years due to this. The pharaohs were building fortresses in the western and eastern delta to keep out invading Libyans and people of the Levant, respectively.

New Kingdom (1550-1070) BCE

Egypt guarded herself after the second intermediate period. She used her empire's "buffer states" to guard invitation. The Eiteeth dynasty was famous for its fascinating rulers. A famous ruler Akhnaton set up a new religion worshiping a single god called Aten.

Saint and late period (712-322) BCE

Psamtik the king of Libyan descent, set up the twenty-six dynasty. The saint kings emulated the traditions, art, and large private tombs. From the time of Persian invasions to 1952 Egyptoins would be ruled by foreign powers.

Greco Roman Period (332-643) CE

In 332 BCE the young Alexander declared himself pharaoh. Egypt was being controlled by Ptolemy establishing a dynasty that lasted for almost three hundred years. After Cleopatra died the Romans used their people to farm food for its troops.
