Main objective is to end poverty<br><br></div><div>8 Goals to be achieved in 15 years <br><br></div><div>1.       Eradicate extreme hunger</div><div>2.       Achieve universal primary education  </div><div>3.       Promote gender equality and empower women </div><div>4.       Reduce child mortality </div><div>5.       Improve maternal health </div><div>6.       Combat hiv/aids malaria and other diseases</div><div>7.       Ensure environmental sustainability </div><div>8.       Global partnership for development <br><br></div><div>UNDP are working to fulfill the goals <br><br></div><div>Due to the work done the number of people living on less than 1.25$ a day dropped to half<br><br></div><div>Kids that do not go to school down by almost half<br><br></div><div>Lifesaving treatments increased by almost 15x times<br><br></div><div>However, over 800 Million people are still living on less than a dollar per day<br><br></div><div>In September 2015 a new set of goals are made which are called the stable development goals<br><br></div><div>The main purpose of the goals is to complete MDGs work and end poverty as well as protect the environment <br><br></div><div>Bahrain is committed with the United Nations from the year 2000 to complete the objectives that were laid out. Furthermore Bahrain has also created the vision of 2030 for the purposes of tackling the issue and achieving the MDGs goals<br><br></div><div>The most crucial goal for Bahrain is to end poverty. Keeping in mind that this will eliminate any future demonstrations as Bahrain faced this issue in 2011. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Q1: To end extreme poverty.<br>Q2: Bahrain food bank, they redistribute excess food ( leftovers of wedding parties , hotels , known resturants) to needy people, it is related to the seconed goal.<br>Q3: all of them are important especially 14( life below water) 15 ( life on land) , to keep up with the fast growth in population , bahrain has followed the reclamation process. This affected the life below water. fish that used to live in tubli bay became extinct because of reclamation. this cant be fixed now, but it can be avoided in the future.  </div>]]></description>

The net enrolment ratio for primary and secondary levels is 100% and 86.4%, respectively, consequently eliminating illiteracy, while enrolment in kindergartens is 82%.<br><br><strong>Q3:<br></strong>In my opinion, the most important goal for Bahrain is goal No.13 , because Climate change and its adverse effects on water and agricultural resources requires urgent action such as the transfer of appropriate green technologies.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
