         <description><![CDATA[<div>I'd be curious to extend this conversation to talk about the genders of the animals.&nbsp;We could talk about the gender of the animals (good time to talk about pronouns) and why the author might have picked the male gender. When I first looked at this lesson and saw that most of the characters were animals, I thought I wouldn't have to worry about gender. However, with the use of pronouns, the animals are given a gender and that can continue the stereotypes between genders. </div>]]></description>

Reminding students that despite the different origins and different characters, we are all alike. We are all striving for cooperation to achieve our goal. </div>]]></description>
