Book 3: "Alice in Wonderland"

The students read the book, identified the problems in the story and looked for solutions. 
Science: The strange phenomena encountered by Alice in the book "Alice in Wonderland" can be interpreted as illusions, hallucinations ... Some can be scientifically explained by the phenomenon of light refraction.
Technology : Using technology, the students solved the Alice in Wonderland puzzle
Engineering: Students built their own structures from playing cards
       Art: Creative project – Artistic presentation of the characters in the book.
       Mathematics: The students solved a mathematical puzzle inspired by Alice's adventures.

We read the book first and then arranged a meeting to discuss about the problems in the story. Each student declared his/her opinion and try to find a solution. In order to make the problems More Clear we offered to watch the animation and then discussed the problems again. In this story they preferred painting their solutions. This work made the students think a problem in different aspects. İt was so nice to study on a fantastic story.

The students watched the animated film, chose their favorite sequence, created flowers and 3D models from recyclable materials, carried out experiments, solved problems and exercises with their favorite characters from the book on the interactive board.

This month we worked on the story "Alice In Wonderland. The children read the book and watched the cartoon. We talked about the problems that arose. Each student gave his opinion and we tried to find the solution. We illustrated the solution in a project inequip using the STEAM activity.

Within the scope of the STEM with Stories eTwinning project, we read our book, watched the movie, listed the problems of our hero, selected 1 of these problems and proposed different solutions using STEM method. First, we illustrated these solutions. Finally, we prepared the prototype of our solution proposal and made our presentation.

My students and I went through the same steps that we did with the other books: we read the book, and to understand it better and familiarize ourselves with the characters, we watched the movie. This is where the questions started: how those potions were born, what effects they had on the characters, how the characters came to life. We also tried to make a magic potion that would reduce the words (obtaining diminutives). We had a lot of fun when we read the words on the chips and selected the ones that matched. Another challenge was the tea at 5 o'clock. We had 3 miraculous cups in which we dipped (depending on the number of syllables) tea bags with words written on them. Next to the cup of tea we served a candy placed in a magic jar . Ordered correctly, the 3 candies received formed a word. We outdid ourselves and counted up, joined the dots and got the image of the main character, we colored the image nicely. We then solved a maze, leading Alice to her friend.

We read a book by Lewis Carroll and listened to the audio book "Alice in Wonderland".

We posed problems and solved them in STEAM activities. We presented our work to classmates and parents. It was fun to have different activities.
