All users can locate and edit a check-in code from the mobile app following the guidance below.

1. Log in to brightwheel on the mobile app

2. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top-left hand corner and select Edit profile

3. Scroll down to locate your Check-In Code and tap it

4. Input a new 4-digit check-in code in the popup
   🚩 If your code matches that of another staff or parent, a warning message will be shown, you can still save and use that code but it is not recommended

5. Tap Set Code

• Please upload (and print if possible) all forms to Brightwheel as soon as possible.

• You will find the medical form, a form for contact details, and an emergency authorization. Please fill out these forms by your first day of school or we will not be able to accept your child. 

  
  

Supplies (please label):

• Inside shoes (crocs or similar comfortable shoes without laces; your child should be able to put them on on his/her own)

• Your child's "Doudou" (Lovey) or an object that reminds them of you/home to help them separate on their first day of school. No toys at school please.

• Two full sets of a change of clothes in a labeled Ziploc bag

• Summer Hats & Sunscreen. Bug spray unless you agree to use our own school supply (see over the counter form on brightwheel).

• A blanket if your child is napping at school ( and diapers if needed) 

• Lunch in a labeled container 

• 1 Fruit to share for snack times, unpeeled and uncut.

• All small fruits like grapes or blueberries but also cherry tomatoes must be pre-cut or will not be served (chocking hazard).

• Please no nuts, no peanut butter, no almonds, etc… we are a nut-free school. 

• No Juice and no popcorn 🙏.

• Fever within the past 24-36 hours (temperature over 100.4° Fahrenheit (F) or 38° Celsius (C) )

• Vomiting within the past 24-36 hours

• Coughing

• Excessive runny nose/sneezing

• Sore throat

• Diarrhea

• Draining rash or wound

• Eye discharge or pink eye

• Fatigue that prevents participation in regular activities

• Open wounds, unless properly covered

• Lice and scabies

Parents of children who come to the Camp sick or become ill during the day will be contacted to come and pick them up.

Before returning to the Camp children must be free of fever and symptoms for at least 24 hours without the use of medication.

Children can be readmitted after medical diagnosis to rule out bacterial or viral infection or after 24 hours have passed since starting antibiotic treatment with a note from a medical practitioner.

-White cardstock for painting and printing.

If you made sure to cut out your shapes super carefully, you’re left with some perfect Matisse stencils to paint with!

Fill with Paint and Carefully Remove

Choose a stencil, place onto a fresh sheet of paper and paint your shape – remember that Matisse used fun, bright colours!

Slowly lift your stencil, taking care not to smudge the edges.

Layer the Shapes

Layer up different colours and shapes to create a simple stencilled masterpiece that Matisse would be proud of!

Start by carefully cutting out each of the different shapes

Stick the Cutouts

Start to think about color and design and stick the first few shapes onto your paper. Are you creating an abstract picture? Perhaps you’re expressing an emotion?

Secure all the Pieces, Layer and Collage

Stick the rest of the shapes onto your paper, layering up, to create your own unique Matisse-inspired collage

This is a fun one! Start by putting blobs of different colored paint down each side of a fresh sheet of card.

Scrape the Paint

Using a square of cardboard, scrape the paint across the card. Think about how the paint blends together and how you can create bold, vibrant colours. Sweep the card slow, then fast – does it make a different pattern?

Use the Stencils to Create Layers

Now you have a striking, colorful background – this is called Positive Space. Once dry, overlay the stencils and use black and white paint to create a layered design – this will be your Negative Space. How does this change the feeling of your art, the texture, depth and color?

Inspired by Sonia Delaunay, students will be superimposing colorful circles to create a tapestry of round shapes. We will ask the students how they feel looking at these shapes, what movements they make them think of, and what happens if we try to mimick them with music.

Let's draw inspiration from Niki de Saint Phalle's funky sculptures to push our imaginations. The goal will be to create a crazy and colorful sculpture by assembling scraps of paper onto a cardboard structure.

Students are guided by their teachers to explore different technics, colors, materials such as paint, pastels crayons, gouach sticks, making and drawing basic dino and crown shape.. etc
