I am officially a member of the second group of astronauts. Nasa chose me to take part in this mission due to my vast knowledge in aeronautical engineering and my military experience. I have a feeling that the space training will be a lot more difficult than my pilot training. I hope that I will become good friends with my mission partner. After 3 orbits around the Earth I began my mission; I was going to walk in space. Although, the cosmonauts walked in space before us it was still a giant achievement.
