$870 million have been set aside for the aviation sector.
With aviation sector being the worst hit sector due to COVID-19, International borders remain largely closed today. As of end-January this year, total passenger movements in Changi were only about 2% of pre-COVID-19 levels. With this amount of money, the aviation sector upgrade its capabilities and to prepare for the recovery as travelling seems to be a viable option by the end of 2021. This is so that aviation companies like SIA do not need to spend more money, which can save a lot of people jobs

SGUnited Skills Courses
Training courses for skills upgrading while looking for a job. An allowance of 1200 per month provided to cover basic expanses. (Immediate help) This measure shall enable more people to have the ability to upgrade their skills and improve on their current abilities. The people who need this opportunity the most- those in need of financial support- will benefit the most from the measure as they are financially supported by this measure.
This measure allows individuals constant growth and improvement as they pick up new skills. Individuals will then be more attractive to companies. This therefore benefits themselves as they receive new skills and also have a wider range of job opportunities with the new sills learnt. (Not immediate help but soon enough)

The government will support workers and businesses where needed. Covid19 affected many workers and businesses, thus support will be given to those affected groups of people, by extending the Jobs Support Scheme (JSS), SGUnited Jobs and Skills Package and COVID-19 Recovery Grant. With this support, these businesses will not face such a huge financial burden and will recover from the financial crisis that they are facing more quickly, so companies can overcome this challenge ensuring that they will not face another financial crisis. With this support, workers will still have income and are still able to lead a normal life. So Singapore's expenditure will not be affected and the economy will be stable.

You should focus on only one measure, what does it do exactly to help the companies.

One measure taken by the Singapore government to help companies cope with this crisis would be through catalysing a wide range of capital to help businesses and companies to innovate, transform and scale. For example, by co-funding mature enterprises, the government is able to help such enterprises to adopt digital solutions and the new technology in order to allow their businesses to continue running and flourishing when under such circumstances, as the companies would have a wider range of capital to use on implementing such digital improvements, allowing them to be able to continue running their businesses as quickly as possible with the government’s support. Hence, by doing so, the government is able to give the companies a quick way to recover from their losses by letting them continue their business and earn money even when there are so many restrictions in place due to COVID-19.

This involves redesigning of jobs to help companies cope better with the post COVID 19 economy. It is something forward-looking, not something that can help companies immediately.
