         <description><![CDATA[<div>In the poem "A boy and his dad"by Edgar Guest the structure of is that it is in 4 stanza and uses a rhyme  scheme and uses figuartive language to express the central idea.The poem helps to express the central idea by showing that the boy and his farther are  bonding with each other on a fishing trip to make happy memories with each other.In the text it states "And the boy is learning the ways of men from the finest man in his youthful ken."This shows that the boys farther is spending time with his son which is very important.The text also states "The soul of the father is steeped in joy for he's finding out to his heart's delight that his son fit for the future fight."This shows that the man was teaching his son the ropes of being a man for the future.In addition,it also states "And the father teaching the youngster gay how to land a fish in the sportsman's way."This quote shows that the guy was teaching his son the ropes of a pro fisher man does fish.Overall,this is how the structure of the poem helps to express the central idea of the poem.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div> In the poem, ''A Boy and His Dad'' by Edgar Guest the structure is uses rhymes schemes and figurative language helps the poem helps to express by showing that the boy and the father are spending happily together while fishing to build their companionship. According to the text''The soul of the father is steeped in joy, For he's finding out, to his heart's delight that his son is fit for the future fight. He learning the glorious depths of him , And the thoughts he thinks and his every whim; And he discover, when night comes on, How close he was grown to his little son.'' This evidence shows that  the father feel happy that his son is learning from him to be ready for the future and spending closer time with him while fishing. According to the text'' I fancy I hear them talking there. In an open boat, and the speech is fair. And the boy is learning the ways of men from the finest man in his youthful ken''. This evidence shows that  the narrator hears the boy and the father talking to each other in the boat that the son is learning to fish from his father. According to the text'' A boy and his dad on a fishing trip.Builders of life's companionship . Oh, I envy them, as I see them there.Under the sky in the open air, Come summer days that I used to know, When Iearned life's truths from my father's lips. As  I shared the joy of his fishing trips.'' This evidence shows that the boy and the dad has spend their time together in the fishing trip and the narrator has remember his own experience when he share his joy with his father. Overall, this shows the structure of the central idea of the poem.<br><br></div>]]></description>

For example it states, "And the boy is learning the ways of men.<br>From the finest man in his youthful ken"<br>This rhyme scheme shows how the father is important. Another quote shows "Kings, to the youngster cannot compare with the gentle father who's with them there" this quote shoes how his father is more important then kings! Overall this shows how the author uses rhyme scheme to show how the father is very important!</div>]]></description>
