Nowadays, there are a lot of remedies or medicine in the world. When we talk about medicine we refer about traditional medicine too. Traditional medicine is the set of the knowledge, skills, and practices based on different theories and experiences from many cultures. Therefore, many people use traditional medicine to cure some diseases or to prevent it. In our society, is very common that the people especially the grandparents use this kind of medicine with herbs and others ingredients. Furthermore, the grandparents taught to our parents all the traditional medicine that they knew and they taught us. As my own experience, one day I had stomachache and I did not know what I had to do. My mother told me that I could drink water with bicarbonate and a little bit of apple vinegar. I did that and I started to felt well. It really worked. In conclusion, there are a lot of this kind of natural traditional medicine to use and contribute to have a healthy life with no much chemicals.

Indigenous peoples in Ecuador, or Native Ecuadorians, are the groups of people who were present in what became Ecuador when Europenas arrived. I think the Ecuadorian indigenous culture is very important for many reasons. First, Ecuadorian culture is that it is not one single culture. There are many cultures around the Ecuador and it is one characteristic about our country, Ecuador is multiple cultural. For example, the Afro-Ecuadorians that are present in Ecuador today are famous for their marimba music and many music and dance festivals. Second, the Ecuadorian indigenous are very skilled to make an interesting kind of clothes. People that are familiar with the native dress can often tell roughly where an Indian is from, based on what they wear. Finally, in way of conclusion all the culture that we can find in Ecuador, has a little piece of our history. Therefore, we must know about our culture and protect it to feel very proud because of that.
