- What I learnt from Talk Session today by Chris Leong is the difference between the method of traditional animation and digital animation in the 2D Animation Pipeline. The digital method is more advanced and fast in making the 2D Animation rather than traditional method.

- The other things that I learnt is each platform has their own target audience. Some of them just focus on kids and some of them just focus on teenager and adult

What ive learned from the webinar with the producer of Inspidea is:

1. Working from home is allowed on one codition which is the employee has to be experienced, considering the company might reduce the threshold of the employee salary or even block it if the employee does not meet the required quota. That is why it is recommended for new employees to conduct their work at the workplace.

2. Animators that has their own animating style are given suitable projects that correspond to their animating skills. Example, cartoony style animation will be supervised by animators that are experinced in that department.

In today's talk, Miss Chris explained each steps their team in Inspidea go through to create an animation project. One thing I learned and sticked to me was how different their process is from my solo FYP project. Their pipeline is much more detailed with a lot more different branches compared to my very simple personal process pipeline. Although I can't do a similar process as a one person team, I can learn a lot from it, like the different details i need to be aware of and the arrangement of the process. I'm hopeful that it will help me better with my FYP process.

One thing that I've learned is that being a producer is not an easy feat. After listening to Chris Leong's talk, I understand that becoming a producer is challenging due to the responsibilities of managing teams and projects, budgets, communicating with others and tight deadlines. Of course, we all start somewhere. In Chris' experience, she started out first as a production assistant whereby she only did paperwork, handling deliveries or any mundane tasks. Despite this, I am committed to achieving my goal. Her talk inspired me to work harder and refine my skills to succeed in this role.

A new thing i learned from today's talk by Miss Chris Leong from Inspidea is we need to have a good pipeline to make the work go as smoothly as planned regardless of its 2d or 3d animation. Secondly, i was given exposure of how and what the job scope of being a producer, since Miss Chris is a producer itself. The last but not least, i get to know the format or categories of animation such as short film, feature film, series and many more.

We recently had the opportunity to have Talk Session with Producer Chris Leong from the Inspidea team, where they work on animation projects.

During our conversation, I learned that their pipeline is highly detailed with many branches, which allows them to focus on every aspect of pre-production, production, and post-production in great detailed.

In comparison, the pipeline that I familiar with isn't as detailed as their pipeline, likely because we aims to simplify the process or focus on important stuff.

However, this talk inspired me to be better and if can to be more detail and precision, particularly in terms of time management and project workflow.

For my reflection, Miss Christ Leong discourse today taught me new things. He follows the pipeline company instructions regarding the animation pipeline if he requests a 3D pipeline, we have to follow to that type of pipeline. As a production assistant who had to deliver tasks, complete paperwork, and other duties, the second person who aspires to be a producer knows that it's not as simple as it seems. As a producer, he is also in charge of managing teams, overseeing projects, and interacting with individuals from various backgrounds and needs. I was greatly inspired to put in more effort after listening to the Talk.
