For today I have learned about the 5 Patterns of Paragraph Organization. First, The Cause And Effect Its basically explains why something happens and what the results are. Then, the Compare and Contrast it explains the similarities and differences between two or more subjects. Next the Description which provides a detailed picture of a person, place, or thing. Next, the Problem and Solution it shows a problem and then offers one or more solutions to it. Finally, the Chronological/Sequence IT presents information in the order it happens, using time or a step-by-step process.

I have learned the 5 Patterns of Paragraph Organization and those are Sequence, Compare and Contrast, Cause and Effect, Problem and Solution, and Description. Sequence is organizing information based on time, next is Compare and Contrast it shows how two or more things are similar or different. Here we also have Problem and Solution which presents a problem then shows the solution, next is Cause and Effect which shows why something happened and what happened. Last but not the least is Description which provides a detailed picture of something.

Earlier in today's online class, I learned about the 5 patterns of Paragraph Organization. These are the Cause and Effect, Compare and Contrast, Description, Problem and Solution, and the Sequence.

The Cause and Effect show the reason for an event or something that happened. The Compare and Contrast presents similarities and differences between subjects. The Description helps us make or imagine a vivid picture in detail through the use of writing. The Problem and Solution show issues and their solutions. Last but not least, the sequence explains information in a specific and organized order, by chronological or a process with steps.

Today's lesson has helped me learn more about the basic foundations of grammar and paragraph structure. All of these patterns have taught me to be able to organize ideas clearly in a paragraph. They are crucial, as, without these, we would not be able to understand each other clearly, and communication would be confusing.
