He published a paper on what he called “manico-melancolicus.” In his paper he talked about the link between mania and depression.          <description><![CDATA[<div>There is no single test that can accurately determine if a person has bipolar disorder so usually a combination of methods is used. Typically a doctor would first test for other medical problems that could be causing bipolar like symptoms. Then if none are found they would then refer them to a mental health specialist. A psychiatrist would then ask questions about their personal life and symptoms in order to determine if they are bipolar or not.</div>]]></description>
